Bones is about a forensic anthropologist, Dr. Temperance Brennan and a Special Agent Seeley Booth. What mesmerizes me about the Bones series is that it comprises of a beautiful blend of action, drama and thrilling edge-of-the-seat scenes. To add on some cream to the cake, the romantic camaraderie between the two protagonists is gripping. They share an amazing chemistry and a great sense of humor. Their relationship comes across challenging, intimate, intense and complex scenarios. The Bones TV series has it all under one roof. With a great disparity among all the other characters, the excitement is leveled all throughout the series.

This crime fighting dramatic sitcom is one genuine recommendation for a delightful evening. Once you get seated, your eyes will be glued to the screen! Another amazing fact about the series is that battle going on constantly – logic v/s beliefs, myths v/s reality and brains v/s brawn. The plunging storylines, heart-pounding erratic events and the dramatic emotions that these characters go through is what makes me addicted to this genre of sorts. These crucial elements are what make Bones one of the most loved TV shows worldwide. My verdict – Bones is one serial with a lot of heart in it!

House TV Series

House TV series is a lighthearted medical drama that many viewers, including me find tough to ignore. This series usually revolves around the diagnosis of different patients. When they have tried and tested every place possible in vain, House is where the patients eventually turn up. The unique antics by the central character, Dr. Gregory House pulls off are mind-boggling.

A little known fact is that House series has earned critical acclaim as well as enjoys a high viewership. Lisa Edelstein proved to create an impact on Bryan Singer, the executive producer, on a show called ‘The West Wing’ and influenced his decision in casting her. The exceptional approach that Dr. Lisa Cuddy, Dr. Eric Foreman, Dr. Robert Chase, Dr. James Wilson and Dr. Allison Cameron take on their assignments is something worth taking a look at. There is a peculiar sense of sarcasm to the tone of the series. In order to enjoy that you must be a regular viewer of all House episodes.

IF you look harder into House’s character, you will notice a strong resemblance to the famously known, Sherlock Holmes. Another breath taking fact is that House was the most watched TV serial in the entire world in 2008! Incredible, isn’t it? So I would say there are many more reasons to watch this medical drama that also is a winner of three prime time Golden Globe Awards and two Emmy Awards.

The NCIS series is a spin-off from JAG and surrounds the investigation procedures and deadly circumstances that the main characters face. To top that up, the cast really bring a new depth to each of their characters. A Naval Criminal Investigative Service led by Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs and comprising of Anthony DiNozzo, Timothy McGee, Ziva David and Abby Sciuto, the NCIS show covers all other aspects as well. You have comedy, loads of action, suspense and a touch of drama to it.

This very blend itself makes it a show that would keep you gripped to your seat. At least that is the case with me. The fast paced investigating spree they get on keeps you glued. One of the best parts is the contrast in the characters. All being of a different nature, you never have boredom coming on to you as you’re constantly entertained.

The NCIS TV show brings a different theme to investigations. The relationship shared among the characters never seems fictional or unrealistic. Even though they are Special Agents on investigations, you can still identify with them. That’s what special about the whole NCIS theme. If police drama is your forte, I would definitely recommend a zero-in on this one.
