Forgetting his own marital problems, ace golfer Tiger Woods is donating $3 million to help the Haiti earthquake victims. According to sources, the money donated by Woods would be used to send a cargo plane to Haiti with a mobile hospital by Yele, the Wycelf Jean Haiti relief group.

Wyclef Jean is a popular American musician who was born in Haiti and his non-profit organization has helped in raising more than $1 million to provide relief work in Haiti.

Tiger Woods, 34 is facing intense criticism from all around the world for his infidelity. The star golfer has not been sighted in public after he had accepted the infidelity charges. Although, he is staying away from the media, Woods has come forward to help the impoverished people of Haiti.

American musician Russell Simmons disclosed the news of Tiger’s donation to the relief work in Haiti. Simmons is a regular Twitter user and posted a Twitter message on Wood’s generous donation saying that the golfer is doing something amazing by donating $3 million and helping in sending a cargo plane to Haiti with a mobile hospital that will have 50 EMTs to look after the Haitian people.

The earthquake of magnitude 7.3 that hit Haiti is the worst to hit the tiny Caribbean nation over 200 years. The international community has organized rescue and aid teams to help Haiti and its people recover from the massive devastation.
