If by luck, you are reading this post before 1am on Sunday, set your DVR to record the original movie on SyFy, House of Bones. This is the last airing at the moment for this great mixture of Ghost Hunter creepy goodness and parody on SyFy.

Not for the fainthearted, House of Bones stars Charisma Carpenter from ‘Buffy, The Vampire Slayer’. It follows a television ghost hunt reality show that ultimately hits on a ghost jackpot. The production problems, the fake setups, and the hushed voices are dead giveaways to anyone who watches Ghost Hunters or the like. The opening sequence of House of Bones even begins with Sinister Sites – their very own reality show. Simply hysterical!

However, once the TV camera crew enters the house, they discover the ghastly secrets of the old house and that’s where the horror begins. House of Bones is the modern day version of the classic horror movies and is packed with jump out at you scenes and gory scares.

Watch House of Bones only if you are a true horror fan, as it gets more frightening as it goes along! It airs on SyFy Saturday night and Sunday morning, depending on the time zone you’re in.
