Later it seems that Facebook is planning to adopt a challenge to index user info on Google, Bing and other search engines! So what Facebook indexing Google means to you, it clearly means Facebook will automatically index all your info on Google including your personal info, photos and updates!

So it means Facebook will automatically index all your info on google? Well not actually. You can control your Facebook account to index your profile info limitations. It also allows you to change your privacy settings to control Facebook’s indexing feature. Its upto you if you want others to see your updates and profile on Google than change the setting according to it.

Here are the steps to terminate your Facebook profile from getting indexed on Google:
Login to Facebook > Click on Settings > Privacy Settings > Search

Observe if the “Allow indexing” box is checked, if it’s checked then your profile will be indexed in search engines. Uncheck if you don’t want to get indexed. Do comment if you like this post.
