The New Orleans Saints have signed fan favorite Deuce McAllister just before their NFL clash with the Arizona Cardinals. Although, Deuce McAllister is not scheduled to play in the game, he will certainly provide a big lift to the morale of the Saints and their fans.

McAllister who has suffered many knee injuries during his NFL career with the Saints will be part of the playoff team, giving him the chance to get the player’s share of $21,000 per game and end his career on a high note. McAllister is the all-time touchdown scorer and leading rusher but physically couldn’t compete for a roster spot in the New Orleans Saints this season due to the injuries suffered.

Deuce McAllister is loved by the New Orleans Saints fans and with this move; he has the opportunity to win a ring in the city that loves him dearly. Of course, the Saints have to get past Kurt Warner and the Cardinals, followed by 2 more huge games for McAllister to see it happen.

McAllister has not played football for close to a year but has practiced with the Saints at their suburban training headquarters. Sean Payton, the New Orleans Saints coach said they were discussing the idea of making McAllister the unofficial guest captain but when Rodney Leisle, the reserve defensive tackle injured his knee they decided to make him an official part of the Saints team.
