Katie Stevens, Justin Williams wow American Idol judges
Justin Williams is not a new face on American Idol show but like last time, he continues to impress the judges of the popular TV show. Justin, who was part of the show, last year sang ‘Feelin Good’ and sailed through to the next audition round.
Katie Stevens, another American Idol hopeful stays with her big Portuguese family in Connecticut sang ‘At Last’ and impressed the judges. Her reason for auditioning at American Idol is to succeed before her grandmother, who has Alzheimer can’t recognize her anymore.
However, as in the previous seasons, the show did have a sizeable share of bad auditions too. The show was kicked off by Janet McNamara, a self-confessed American Idol game addict. To psych herself for the audition, she started bouncing up and down but she just didn’t have the talent to back her enthusiasm. Her performance was terrible, totally off-key and pitchy, prompting Idol judge Simon Cowell to ask if the window is open. Of course, Janet got a unanimous no from the Idol judges.
Season 9 of American Idol promises to be exciting and talented singers like Justin Williams and Katie Stevens are sure to steal the show from the other American Idol participants. Justin who has a very marketable face was diagnosed with cancer 7 years ago but is now cancer free.
The auditions for American Idol will continue till the February 2 followed by Hollywood week, which will lead into live shows and then the voting where fans will vote for their favorite singer of this season.
